What food should i not eat while lifting weight/building muscle?

I need help, i cant find any sites that can help me with finding out what foods i should not eat while lifting weights/building muscle. This is for my school project, im explaining weight lifting.

Avoid sugar as much as possible. Unfortunately it’s put in a lot of foods during manufacture, like bread for instance and baked beans. So eat plenty of fresh foods, meat and fish, and fruit and vegetables. Give the processed foods a miss if you can, and always read the labels to see what is in the food before you buy. Sugar causes muscle weakness.
