What are your top martial arts movies of all times?
Here are mine not in any particular order:
Harakiri and Sword of Doom (Japanese)
Hero/ Fearless (Chinese)
Fighter in the Wind (Korean)
District B13 (French)
Ong Bak/ Tom Yum Goong (Thai)
I deliberately choose one from a different region to get the poll started. I disagree with people who say Bruce Lee started it all. It was actually Akira Kurosawa who brought Samurai Sagas to the screen much earlier. His movies are much better shot, with great story lines (Rashomon, Seven Samurai, Yojimbo) and served as an example for one of the greatest directors (Francis Ford Coppola)
