i’m afraid for my cousin. she joined the National Guard a few months ago. how can i show support?
she’s on a deferred leave until she finishes high school this month. i’m afraid for her, given the likelyhood she’ll be shipping out to Iraq or Afghanistan. is there a way to express this fear to her, but also show support?
I think that she already knows about the Iraq part, mentioning it to her would just add to the stress that she already must be feeling.
Just show support. Let her know that you love her no matter what and would support her through anything.
They would have to train her before sending her out there… hopefully the war would be over by then.
