Do you consider longevity to effect legendary status?

Alot of times when the greatest rapper ever question comes up, tupac is the most popular answer and i guess rightfully so, he had a lasting impact on the game the short time he was here..but if longevity was a bigger factor, wouldn’t guys like jay-z, nas, krs one, and rakim easily lead the list of greatest rappers of all time; rather than tupac and biggie?

Oh, definitely, longevity has everything to do with legendary status. To me, KRS-One is the greatest rapper ever.
