Workout question?
I’m 19, Male, about 145lbs. I’m pretty muscular as well. I got about 5 – 10 lbs to loos off of my waist and thighs. I work out everyday, but only do cardio on my days off. I get 3 days off. Now, I start off my workout with pushups, chinups, free weights, hand grippers, and sit ups (which I freaking hate). Then, I do my cardio which is a combination of jump roping until I can’t anymore, then going to my punching bag and unloading until I can’t anymore, then back to jump rope……..After my workout I drink after workout formula, now, abuot 5 hours later I am no longer sore, and I feel I can workout again. Should I? Is it ok? WHy or why not? And doing pushups whenever I feel like it, that ok?
No, you should not work out again. Just because your muscles are not sore does not mean that they are ready for another work out. However if you really do want to work out 2 times in a day, I would recommend splitting up cardio and weights. Pick a certain muscle group or 2. (Ex, Back/Bi, Chest/Tri) and do that in the morning then do legs and cardio in the evening. A large part to getting in shape is giving you muscles enough time to recover.
