Boxing Punch Bag Filling?
Hi,
i am purchasing a punchbag on ebay and it says it is an empty punchbag. Me and my mother go boxing twice a week and we want a boxing bag for the garage. we wanted a boxing bag Not to heavy but not to light. what should we fill it with? Sand is a good one but will it make it to heavy?
i ddon’twant the bag to be ROCK SOLID. i want it just right so its soft but padded but yet not to heavy, i want it heavy but not really heavy. people say shreshreddedthes are good but i think it would make the bag to light.
could you please tell me the following:
- Whats the best filling for a perfect bag
- Where i can buy fillings from
& What is the price range for each filling

I would recommend filling it with sand “but” put pillow cases in there as well so when you hit it,it wont hurt your hands.
For instance put a lot of soft tissue like bed sheets etc and then fill them with sand.it will be heavy but wont hurt.
