Would being fatter help me in a fight?

Im 14, 5″ 9 and weigh aprox 140lb. Ive done tae-kwon-do since i was 6 but have now started tang-soo-do.
In a fight id most likely rely on kicks/ grappling techniques, although i practice punching at home on my punchbag. I am quite fit and have six pack/pecks/strong arms/legs but my worry is im too skinny. My body fat percentage is 4.39%! Im counting calories and make sure i always burn more than i eat.

Anyway my question is: should i try and gain more muscle or more fat in order to be a better fighter?
p.s bearing in mind its much easier to gain fat (especially for me).

appearance doesn’t matter. I watched a 60 year old man run through guys in their 20s. Worry about technique not what you look like. Find the perfect balance between speed and strength. Best advice I can give to any fighter is to spare as intensely as you are comfortable with, a few times a weekwith people that are better than you. Avoid practicing with people that are not as good as you, it will negatively effect your ability. As long as you have formal training, practice regularly, and stay away from drugs and alcohol you will be fine.
