Addicted to Ceiling & Wall Filling Mix?
Recently I have found myself consuming ‘Mangers All Purpose Filler’, which is a mixture similar to cement used to fill cracks, gaps and holes in walls and ceilings. So far I have only had moderate stomach cramps and light constipation but I am worried that I may suffer from more extreme side effects.
I first came across the substance in February when I was using it to fill a hole that came about when a punchbag bracket became unattached from the wall. I wanted to taste it because it is an attractive colour and texture. I eventually ended up eating the entire 330g over the next few days.
Since then I have consumed roughly three tubes of this stuff a week. There is no ingredients list so I don’t know if it contains any dangerous chemicals. However it does have notes on the back stating ‘Avoid contact with eyes’ and ‘Wash hands after use’…………it doesnt say anything about not eating it but I guess the makers probably didnt really plan for that
Odd. I once redecorated my house with wall paints that had an appetite-inducing smell that lasted for three days. I never thought of eating the stuff, though.
Since it contains cement or other minerals, consider the danger of kidney stones. I don’t know if it’s digestible, but it may leave unexcretable residues in your stomach, possibly bloating you up.
If you want to check if there’s anything organic in it, leave the cap open for a few days.
