Would my punchbag be ruined if I put it outside in the rain?
I was just thinking if it gets soaked from rain then the punchbag would be damp and would be bad to hit. I wan’t to put it outside because there is nowhere to put it inside?

That’s an interesting mystery wrapped in an enigma wrapped in a puzzle wrapped in a conundrum wrapped in a riddle wrapped in a paradox wrapped in a quandary.
I have no idea…I don’t think that punch bag is 100% waterproof. It’s covered in canvas…right? Canvas in the sturdiest fabric, used for tents, sails, backpacks, paintings…but still, you have waterproof canvas, water resistant canvas and fireproof canvas but you cannot be sure 100% that your punch bag is 100% waterproof, especially since it’s a bag and one weak link (like a hole somewhere) could expose the content to water.
Even if it would be waterproof canvas, no manufacturer would guaranty that the punch bag is waterproof and suitable for outdoor use, as it would still be vulnerable to punctures…what if you have a dog who would like to attack and bite it or some squirrels gnawing at it?!?
If I would have to put a punch bag outside, I would protect it from the rain. You have to hang it somewhere and wherever you hang it, you can make a little roof over it. If you can deal with chains and a 48kg/105lbs punch bag, you surely can deal with building a little roof over it. You could burn a hole into one of those cheap flying saucer plastic sleds and fit one above your bag before you screw it in. You can cover your punch bag in plastic bags secured with duct tape. I always keep those huge thick sturdy plastic bags that come with your sofa or mattress…those come in handy when you want to protect stuff outside.
My neighbor built a two-story tree house for his kids with a zip-line to get to it…you could build a little shed for your punch bag.
My father (who was a boxer) built a room for his punch bag and exercise equipment, complete with walls, plastic windows and a tile roof. It was big enough for me to store my bike in there, on the dirt floor, protected from rain.
Outside is fine but just don’t leave your punch bag unprotected.
