question about nhb/mma?
I am currently trying to get an amateur fight at the moment, but on all of the applications i see, they require that you put down your school or the team you train with. My friends and I train together and all have experience in martial arts, so instead of a school I train with them (im too poor for martial arts school!). Could I just make something up for that part of the application?
All you need to do is put “independent.” It is done all the time. In fact, I fight independent at the amateur level myself. Just know that the guys who regularly train at a gym are likely to have an edge.
