Why does navy blue and black not go together?
I hear quite a few people saying this but i don’t get why. It doesn’t look THAT bad. there are far worse matches, I would say.
Either way. tomorrow I planned to wear a yellow tank top with a striped white and navy blue tank top over that. then a small, laced black sweater (the ones that don’t reach the waist but the real short sweaters) I didn’t see too much wrong with it. Is it bad?
If you watch fashion shows – the one that comes to mind first is What Not To Wear – you’ll know that they can go together. They are both neutrals, and neutrals go with anything. The problem comes when they’re the only 2 colors because they can both be dark and heavy, and sometimes it looks like you meant to match, but you had bad lighting and they both looked black. If the black and the blue aren’t too similar, I say go for it!
