Does Mitt Romney have a shot at the Republican nomination?
I believe he’d make a great President, business know how up the wazoo, but I don’t know if he can survive the primary process
He can articulate conservative ideas, but the MA health care plan hangs around his neck also. He’s still defending it. Although it is constitutional, being a state law, it’s still not a good deal for MA citizens. Health care costs are rising faster than the national avg. here.

I think he would definitely beat Obama in the general election. It’s the primaries I’m worried about.
But I do have reservations about his waffling. We need a good, articulate “Conservative” candidate, who doesn’t waiver and can articulate conservative principles. Someone like that is a guaranteed winner. If he waffles and kisses Liberal butt, like McCain, he’ll have no shot
He does, since poltics can change on dime. Heck in 2006, everyone thought Hillary and Rudy were the shoe-in nominees for 2008.
