What type of martial art involves using some sort of staff and/or sword?
I’m thinking about getting into martial arts, for my general health I suppose, and i would really like to learn how to use a bo staff or any kind of staff really. Also, I think i would enjoy some kind of swordsmanship in the martial art. I have no idea where to begin!
If you know of what the type would be called, it would be much appreciated!

There are 119 different weapons in the Seven Star Preying Mantis Kung Fu System. Most are upper level, but we do start with the Staff, Gans, Flute, Single Broadsword, Double Daggers and the Two handed Broadsword. Upper levels include Double Broadswords, Single and Souble Hook Sword(s), 2 and 3 sectional staffs, Spear, Straight sword, Rope Dart, and many more. We also train open hand vs weapon and weapon vs weapon.
I would suggest looking around your area for a quality Kung Fu school. There are many different styles, but many will use the same weapons, just in little different ways. Best way to find out is to go visit a local school and talk with an instructor.
