Where in the world is … ZIGGY PALFFY?
I’m going to launch a new section in the hockey questions realm by randomly asking what happened to a once-popular NHL hockey player that suddenly slipped off the face of the planet.
My first one… ZIGGY PALFFY …
Now the last I remember … he was a New York Islander … then I remember he was a member of the Los Angeles Kings … then he was picked up by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2005-2006 season….he had 42 points in 42 games and then SUDDENLY announced his retirement after straining his groin. I’m pretty sure that’s the last I heard from him.
WHERE IN THE WORLD IS HE NOW?!
Zigmund Palffy, 18 months removed from the NHL, has actually just signed with HK 36 Skalica of the Slovakian league. I my opinion it was too early for him to retire, and think of how much better the Pens would have been last season with him.
