If i got a black belt in Kickboxing would i be any good with muay thai?
Just wondering, because at the moment i’m just 14 and i am doing kickboxing but they’re is no muay Thai were we live so i have to stick to this but i was wondering if i moved and started muay thai would it help me or not.
Yes there is, The belt system goes like white, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, purple-white, brown, brown-white, black-red then black.
Most Kickboxers have a hard time at first when they switch over to Muay Thai, but only for the first month or two, and then it all becomes easier; they very very similar just Muay Thai has knees, elbows, and clinch fighting that Kickboxing does not have, but yes if you would do fine; it would just take alittle while to get used to the extra attacks.
