The Worst Mistakes I Made When My Girlfriend Dumped Me
The first thought that crossed my mind as soon as my girlfriend dumped me was to phone her and convince her to come back. Things will be better this time. I’ve changed.. You are a new man and have come to your senses. It’s alright for your ex-girlfriend to spend time together with her close friends occasionally and you’ve now got your head on straight and trust her completely. You are happy to take a step back and allow her a little space. Suddenly you have come to be a more loving man.
You dial your ex-girlfriend up and she responses nicely but claims she isn’t going to trust you and that she should have a little bit to turn everything over and make a decision. Everything seems fine and you hang up, optimism revives in you. The following day you wish to meet up with her and get coffee or something like that so you decide to phone her again. She cannot hang out since she’s spending time with a “guy friend” in class to work on a school project; perhaps some other time will work better. It feels as though you have been kicked in the chest and you go insane struggling not to think about the two of them kissing over a Physics textbook.
You begin phoning her all the time and sending her texts and emails and begin to inundate her. She initially thinks that you haven’t changed at all. You’re the same bothersome, petty, insecure person you were when she dumped you. She decides that you’re becoming too much trouble and gets a different number, black-lists you from her e-mail and you are alone and messed up after messing up your one chance to win her back.
I would sit in my car and observe her house waiting for her to return just to see who she was with. I would be there for a long time lingering and when she at last came I’d instantly regret doing it. Just seeing the two of them together made me feel horrible. I simply could not recognize that reality that my girlfriend dumped me. I would attempt to learn where she’d be when she would hang out with her friends and I’d “accidentally” appear attempting to talk with her and get her away from her friends. She’d become nervous the instant she spotted me enter the restaurant or bar. She’d roll her eyes at her friends and all of them would get up and go within the next few minutes.
This is not what you would like to happen to you. The fact of the matter is, you can win your ex back, but you will need to be relaxed over it and you will have to have a reliable approach. When you simply do what I did when my girlfriend dumped me, you most likely are really going to screw everything up.
However lousy things may well appear, you can fix your relationship. You merely have to cool off somewhat and allow her some space to ponder over everything and provide her a little bit to truly miss you (you can count on it, she will definitely miss you in due course). My girlfriend dumped me and I did everything completely wrong at the beginning, but I gradually got everything straight and repaired our relationship before the problems got too far out of hand.
The first and smartest thing you must do, if you’re feeling like the breakup is making you crazy is to really disconnect from your ex. Make the commitment to not email or call her for two to four weeks. Begin using this time to focus on yourself and get your life in order. This is what I did when my girlfriend dumped me, and this was a turning point for everything.
