Double bass pedal kick pad help!?
hi i am going to be getting a double bass pedal soon (DW7002) and i have a single bass pedal kick pad. if i was to get a double bass kick pad and take the single one off, would that affect my bass drum head?
oh my dear jesuit…i tried doing that and it was harder than i though. The pad is on there with some very strong glue. Getting the pad itself off was no problem…but the glue took a lot of work and i ended up scratching my bass head from the sponges and brushes i used. Try nail polish remover…put it on there and work fast so the glue comes off and doesn’t just move somewhere else on the head. However it didn’t seem to damage the head, it’s just not as shiny as it used to be
