How do you make a large cut on the palm of a hand heal faster?
My boyfriend cut his hand surfing. Fiberglass may have gotten into the cut. The doctor did not check to see if anything was in the wound. They just washed it and put liquid stitch on it. So, it’s stitched and wrapped in gauze now. Any suggestions for a quick recovery? It’s pretty deep and on the palm of his hand.
Keep the wound as clean as possible. Keep it dry and well bandaged. If you want to apply neosporin 2-3 times a day, this can significantly speed up healing time and reduce scaring.
