joining the guard the pros and cons please explain everything if possible?
Need to find out if you still have to take the ASBAV to join the National Guard. and what are the benefits like thanks
The national guard is a part of the military.
you still need to take the ASVAB. Except in the guard you are a part time soldier or airmen.
So you cannot be in the guard full time. you would need another job or be a college student, because you cannot support your self a lone just being in the guard.
also you have to provide your own housing. they will pay for school.
you can still deploy, but you work more for your state and other states.
have you ever tried talking o a recruiter, or going to there website. They have benefits listed on there.
