If I am borderline for my Max Weight, can I still Enlist in the Coast Guard at the Miami MEPS?
I am 169-170. Borderline. I am 5’6, I am not Obese, but can I still “Pass” the weight part of the physical at the Miami MEPS
Will it Disqualify me at all? For any other branch?
The answer is maybe.
If your only 3-5 lbs over weight they might just say “Go ahead” you will lose it at reception or before going.
They might also do a body fat index.
I’m 5’3″ and weight 160Lbs. They had to do a body fat index on me and i had lower body fat them most of the other guys.
So go and see, worst they can do is tell you to come back.
