Is it ok to hit my punchbag?
is it ok to hit punchbags with out gloves? its not a heavy bag. but i need a heavy one soon because it goes everywhere when i hit it :/
after about 1 hour of hitting/kicking it my ankles hurt and my wrist hurts bad. i don’t got good gloves for hitting a bag only semi-sparring gloves :/
But is it ok?

the bag Is only water. but soon im going to buy that free-standing punch bag thats shaped as a man
To be honest it sounds as though your technique is off if your wrists hurt after just an hour and the tiny gloves are what boxers use for heavy bag work. me and my friends mess around on the bag filled with sand in between training and hit it bare fist, it hurts the knuckles but not the wrist.
