• The electrical Test Equipment should be properly examined before use and if under any case they are found to be defective, they should not be employed.
• An Electrical Test Equipment should only be operated for the specified application. Read the functional instructions before using the check equipment.
• Electrical test equipment must be verified for right operation instantly before and after use. One should make sure that the electric circuit doesn’t get re-energized by the stored electrical or mechanical energy while working at zero energy checks.
• Energized parts operating at less than 30 volts or having less than 1 milliamp of potential current require not be de-energized.
• The electrical devices that work at as high as 30 volts and have a potential current of about 1 milliamp or more should be completed to undergo de-energization before they are mended.
• the different possible risk views should be documented properly and should also include the dangers and the protective instruments gloves, pads, insulated barriers, blankets etc. for all types of jobs.
• The work area should be studied for safe access and sufficient elucidation. Before using electric test equipments, make sure that there are no undocumented risks existing in the work place.
• While working with the electrical devices it is suggested that you should not hold or cart along any conductive accessories like rings, metal frames, watches, glasses, bracelets, metal covers, etc. prevent using something that can make collide with the uncovered energized parts.
• You should hold natural fiber prepared clothes for your protection when you are probable to work with high energy related circuits with an energy level of above 150 volts.
• under cases where you accept shocks, you should ask the support of a supervisor before you again recommence back to your work.
