can u use regular workout gloves when punching a heavy punching bag?
At my gym they have punching bags and I’m buying regular workout gloves for lifting weights and I am wondering if I can use those when using the heavy bag? I know without gloves or wraps u can mess your hand up but are regular workout gloves good enough for a good bag workout?
no they aren’t. i used to hit the heavybag with only boxing gloves and no handwraps, i hurt my wrists several times. you can hit the heavybag very lightly if your only wearing workout gloves.
