What gloves for training, Cleto Reyes or Title Gel?
I’ve been doing a lot of heavy bag work (4 hours a day), and my Everlast 12 oz’s are collapsing on me. I’m looking for a nice sturdy 16 oz glove. Which is better, the Cleto Reyes or Title Gel?
If you’re going to be doing bag work only, then go with a glove that’s made for bag work only. The foam structure and type used is different in bag gloves than training gloves. They are making great super bag gloves for heavy bag work only regardless of brand. I personally like the Grant, velcro closure super bag gloves and I’d get 12 oz. for me. Reyes and Grant make great sparring/training gloves, but I’m not familiar with the Reyes or Title bag gloves. Depends on what you can afford.
