The first 2 I’m sceptical about.
Not knowing where the box might end up makes this difficult to answer. But if you also do not know where it will end up, then I’d have a few concerns.
If there’s a chance it might end up in a less devloped country where food is scarce, and where exposure to 21st century toys such as you have listed is minimal, may I offer the following for consideration:
In sub-Saharan Africa, for example, people might not even know what a key-ring is, never mind one made from stretchy elastic. It is quite possible it would be thought of as something edible…
…as opposed to the coca-cola laces which probably would not be seen as edible at all, and might well be used to (unsuccessfully) tie things together.
I am not trying to be ‘funny’ here – my experiences gained in a lifetime of travel to less developed countries suggests this is exactly the kind of misunderstanding that might occur..

Notepad and pencils are excellent (ALWAYS very gratefully received when I give these away when I am travelling).
Gloves with skeleton hands on might cause offence in a few places, and could even be contrued as being religious in nature… and exporting our religion to less developed countries is, in my opinion, one of the most harmful things we in the West can do. And talking of which, remove any religious message from the box. Send the box by all means, but don’t use it as a backdoor entry to get the recipient to start believing the West’s religious poison.
