One does not have the power to mould thier own life
One does not have the gentle hands to hold it
One can burrow thier hand with majesty and trife
Into the blob of foam bath mind without wit
When time comes to emerge He sharpens the knife
For residue plasters the hand like a mitt
The blob of foam bath is a metaphor for evil. If you tamper with evil you come out scarred. And He is referring to God.
Poetry is personal. Poetry is like a window with all different people looking out into the world. They all percieve it differently.
The beauty of poetry is that it is so personal.
