Jumpax Floor Underlayment used at M.I.T
Jumpax is a free floating, dry levelling, sound reducing, time and money saving fast track underlay system.
Jumpax is being used on the W1 building at MIT in Cambridge Mass. The building has been renovated starting with the old interior being completely gutted from top to bottom. Due to the age of the building and the condition of the original structural floor/ceiling assembly and the amount of floor preparation and the need for structure-borne noise acoustic underlayment system, Jumpax is a perfect fit.
The Jumpax system is suitable for commercial and residential use. The dual underlayment system consists of a composed based board and a top board and is the best underlay system in terms of levelling and impact sound reduction.
Jumpax systems have been installed in universities, hospitals, condominiums, apartments, hotels and resorts and commercial places all over the world. In addition, it has been installed in commercial and public buildings to prevent high-traffic passages on the floors above from intruding conference, office and meeting areas.

Other Underlayments:VC300 Vinyl & Resilient Floor Underlayment
VC300 underlay is 3mm thick and is designed for direct glue down of vinyl and resilient flooring. VC300 contains no rubber so plasticizer migration will not occur. VC300 is very dense and stable and will not deform under loads.
