2001 Corsa Comfort 1.2 Auto my daughters car has started to give battery trouble Any suggestions ?
She came to start it tonight and it was completely dead. Green Flag came to the rescue but did not say what had caused it. Any suggestions as to what it could be.It hasn’t give problems before.
There are a couple of things you can do to work out what’s up.
First make sure all the connections from the battery are clean and tight.
Second start the engine up and connect a tester to the two terminals of the battery, there should be at least 13volts showing.
Third take the car to a garage to get them to do a discharge test on the battery, if the battery has a dead cell this test will show it up.
