New People Carrier Hits the Market
Peugeots old 7 seater car was massively popular, and now they have created a brand new 7 seater people carrier. The new Peugeot 5008 will complete the French car manufacturers car line-up, they also hope that it will be a equal, if not better, rival to the other people carriers currently on the market.
This new car announced by the French manufacturers has a new sleek design with a huge number of modern features, the 5008 shows that buying a 7 seater car isn’t like buying a tank.
The car provides a huge amount of flexibility to suit your lifestyle, with this in mind, you are able to flatten each of the second row seats individually for some extra room. Another option is to flatten the entire back row of seats to you a massive 2,506 litres of storage space.
This car really has been designed for storage, aswell as a huge boot space, there are a series of under floor boxes, plus a huge 10.5 litre cool box to keep your families food cool on the go.
The new 5008 has a number of different engines, all taken from the current Peugeot range. There are 2 different 1.6 litre petrol engines, managing either 156bhp or 120bhp. There are also a range of 3 different diesel engines, a 1.6 litre 110bhp or you can get one of two 2 litre engines that carry 150bhp or 163bhp.
The new Peugeot 5008 is going on show at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2009. Peugeot plan to release the people carrier in the early stages of 2010 with a £15,000 price tag attached. If you are concerned about the cost of this new people carrier, buying your own it’s the only option that will be available at release.
