Everlast Double Mouth Guard…. Help….?

Alright so… This is the first time I’ve ever had a mouth guard and truthfully I have no idea how it is suppose to fit. I’m using it for a jiu-jitsu class.
I boiled and molded it down which seemed to work but I’m not sure how it should be fitting my teeth.
Kinda seems like it’s not covering my teeth completely in the front as well which worries me.
I looked up reviews online and well, they weren’t particularly good… So I figured I’d try for a second opinion.
Any answers would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

(This is the mouth guard by the way-)

I was doing Kempo for some years (then moved abroad to study).
I only used single mouth guards and my first was one of the cheapests from this boiling type. Then I bought a more expensive one that was gel type that my training buddies suggested but I didn’t like it so I kept using my first one for the rest of my lessons and for matches too (national championships – full contact) and my teeth are still on their places. Mouth guards have different sizes so maybe you bought a smaller one.
I would suggest you to show it to your master or one of your more experienced members. They should help you to explain how it is supposed to be. You can learn much if you ask them about anything not just this. Keep this in mind.
