Good bag gloves for boxing?

I’m thinking of getting into heavy bag training just for cardio and a fun workout. I’ve been looking into bag gloves but I’m unsure what to get. The most popular brand seems to be the everlast evergel gloves, but consumers say they wear out in a few months. So what would be a good brand for around 50-60 dollars? Also, would I need to get hand wraps as well. Again this is all for fitness but I would like to gain strength and train at full power as I go.

If this is for getting fit only… Then you should buy some 16oz gloves. You don’t need the really expenside 50-60 dollar gloves, that’s a waste of money. I will throw you up some links to some great gloves for bag training! http://store.titleboxing.com/titleboxing-everlast-semi-pro-velcro-training-gloves.html that links is a traditional Everlast glove. For training you can get 12-16 oz gloves. If you’re a bigger guy get 16 oz it’ll be more of a workout and will protect your hands much better. http://www.ringside.com/Ringside-Warrior-Bag-Glove/productinfo/MFSG/ these gloves are great! There is a sale on these gloves and i adivse you to take advantage!
Now for handwraps.. If you’re smart you’ll get the cheap traditional wraps. Don’t go and buy the jell handwraps. Just the the wrap that you can wrap around your hands. They are very cheap! I will post a link.. http://www.ringside.com/Top-Contender-Classic-Weave-Handwraps/productinfo/CHW/
Good luck!
