Do you speed at the end of the month?
Once again, a question about quotas was recently posted, and several answers suggested the strong presense of officers on the road at the end of the month is proof quotas exist.
If this was true, wouldn’t it make sense to just not speed at the end of the month? Wouldn’t that get the majority of police officers in the US reprimanded? Why are the police arresting all these speeders that know they are going to get stopped because it is the end of the month?
I have so much more to add, but it is last day of the month, so I need to get out there and get some speeders.
You should know by now, law enforcement is in damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation. When police presence is increased people complain that the cops are a-holes that just want to harass everyone; if you’re not seeing them, then it’s no wonder there is so much crime, the cops aren’t doing their job.
It’s a underpaid, often thankless job. Thank you for doing it.
