PARENTS: I’m making halloween treat bags for a group of 3-5 year olds. What should I include?!?
I teach a martial arts class of children ages 3-5, and I’m putting together some goody bags for them for halloween.
I didn’t want to include much of the plastic stuff that’s just gonna end up in the trash a few days later. And i didn’t think it’d be a great idea to put a ton of candy in there.
Any ideas? What would you prefer your children got?
or is it not a big deal?
Thanks!
I like Mistydaw’s ideas. Those mini-playdoughs are great. You could give hot wheels type cars to the boys and the girls. I liked them when I was little and my daughter plays with them too. Vampire teeth or those witch’s fingernails you get at the dollar store are fun. Mini-packs of crayons. Stickers. A high bouncing ball. A couple of pieces of candy, but not a whole lot. Remember, a lot of what you’re giving them is so small, they’ll lose it quickly anyway, so don’t stress too much if you put in some plastic toys, like spider rings. The kids love them.
